A Step
Today, I gave a massage to a delightful lady celebrating her birthday. The massage was given at a salon/spa located in Brookhaven, Pa. At this point in my massage therapy journey, I work four days a week at a chiropractors office, contract at a massage parlor in Media, called Awaken Massage and am on call four days a week at Cambio, the salon/spa I worked at this morning. Not exactly the one job, full time making $600 plus a week I had hoped for while in school, but nevertheless its something. I am finding both as a therapist and as a person, that you take what you can get. Work as much as you can. Follow up on as many leads as you can, no matter how small they may seem. My hope is that if I continue to work hard at all of these places, I will build up my reputation as a massage therapist. My goal is to do massage therapy full time, and perhaps it will take a step like today to get me there.
